Inzen's Intranet and Extranet Solutions
What is an Intranet?
An Intranet is a private website that only the internal staff of an organisation can see. This is typically used inside an office premisis to inform staff members of the latest company information, such as people on leave, new documentation, birthdays, and the footy tipping comp. Also, Intranets can be used to implement email and file archiving, linking in to a document management system and quick access to financial reports.

What is an Extranet?
An extranet is a private website, accessible by external parties, such as clients, distributors and suppliers, with autorised access through a username and password. These external parties can then log in to the private part of a publically accessible website to view confidential information.

Why use an Intranet or Extranet?
Both intranets and extranets are extremely useful - they allow appropriate dissemination of information while maintaining excellent security. Intranets serve to create an internal community and information source for staff, enhancing productivity and morale. Extranets give external parties an extra level of integration and service, either assiting processes or adding client value. Examples would be 'members only' areas or logon areas where business partners can find important up-to-date information.

What does Inzen offer?

Inzen's Kaboodle offers intranet and extranet capability at no extra cost - create as many unique users to log in to an extranet (each seeing a different view if you desire) or lock down the site to create an intranet that only your staff can see.
